"No Catalog Found" after downloading a catalog


  1. The default catalog location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Advanceware\Catalogs. Check this location and verify a catalog is in this location.
  2. Make sure you are selecting the folder above the actual catalog folder when setting catalog path
    1. EX: Catalog path should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Advanceware\Catalogs and not C:\Program Files (x86)\Advanceware\Catalogs\AdvancewareCatalog
  3. Make sure the catalog folder has a MDP file with matching name
    1. EX: AdvancewareCatalog Folder should have a AdvancewareCatalog.mdp file.
  4. Make sure catalog path is not the root directory or desktop folder. These locations can cause issues.
  5. You can manually set the catalog path in the QuickOE.ini file on the 'CatalogPath=' lines.  this file can be found in C:\ProgramData\AdvanceWare
