Looks like a file became corrupt. This can happen if the program gets closed while it's writing to the file. Stop the updater (right-click icon in system tray and select Exit). Then search for AdvWUpdates.xml and delete it. It should be in one of these folders, depending on the operating system:
 
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\AdvanceWare\AdvWUpdt
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\AdvanceWare\AdvWUpdt
 
Start the updater again. Just re-starting OrderLink should start the updater. If not, it can be started from the Windows Startup menu.
