To backup jobs located on your local machine, follow the instructions below.
NOTE: To backup a jobs database located on the server, follow the same steps, but it must be done from the server machine, not a workstation.
1. Start QOE v6, and click on "Help | Tech Support | SQL Server Admin" (c:\Program Files(x86)\Advanceware\SqlServerAdmin\AdvWSqlServerAdmin.exe)
2. Click on the "Backups Tab".
3. Click on "Browse" to set a location to put the backup file.
4. Click on the "Create Backup" button
5. Provide a "Backup Name" when prompted.
6. Click ok.
This will create a .bak file named whatever you named the file in the folder you designated on the machine (or server).
